Adult Forum: The Adult Forum meets each Sunday at 9:15 AM in the Parish Hall. A light breakfast precedes the forum and you are welcome to join us for that as well.
HOPE Tutorial: (Help Offered for Primary Education) after-school program meets on Tuesdays @ 3:30 PM (when school is in session). Please contact Jenny Morris for more information or to volunteer.
Adult Choir Rehearsal: Wednesdays at 7:30 PM
Memorial Service: Saturday, January 13th @ 11 AM celebrating the life of Eleanor Wabnitz’s daughter, Ruth Shelton. Following the service there will be a potluck lunch. If you are able, please bring a covered dish to share. Drinks will be provided. Please contact Jeannie Palin for more information.
Martin Luther King celebration: January 14th, at 6:00 PM at Grace Community Church sponsored by The Greene County Ministerial Association. There will be music by several church choirs, as well as the iDance Ministry. The speaker will be the City Manager of Charlottesville. There is no admission charge, but donations will be accepted to raise money for the Ministerial Association’s Scholarship Fund. Last year they were able to give five $1000 scholarships to William Monroe seniors. The essay competition for the scholarships is open to all seniors.
Service @ The Harbor: Sunday, January 21st @ 2 PM
Annual Parish Meeting: Sunday, January 28th, 2018 after the 10:30 AM Service. New Vestry members will be elected, out-going members will be recognized, and the past year will be reviewed. The new 2018 Budget will also be presented. Before the actual meeting, there will be a pot-luck lunch. Please bring a dish to share with fellow parishioners and join in on an informative gathering.
“Souper Bowl Sunday”: Sunday, February 4th . We will be collecting cans of soup, mac & cheese, and monetary donations at both services.
